thirty-one things i want my kids to know about me

For the next thirty-one days, the entire month of October, I will be writing about thirty-one things I want my kids to know about me. Of course, Gunner is the only child in our home right now, but with the arrival of Titus and, God willing, other kiddos in our future...I want to make sure to jot these things down.

Because there are good and not so good things about me...I want my kids to know both.
Because I know my kids will want to know what I was like when I was "young."
Because I know, years from now, the current me will probably be a distant memory, a dream.
Because I want my kids (and you, who will be reading along) to know me better.

I'll write my posts for the next thirty-one days in a letter format to my kids. I think this will make it feel more personal, more like my story. I hope you enjoy it too.

DAY 1: i love you fiercely.
DAY 2: i don't do change well.
DAY 3: i married up.
DAY 4: i am not a morning person.
DAY 5: i love traditions.
DAY 6: i want you to be in church.
DAY 7: i get hangry.

This page will serve as a landing page for all of my posts...a place where you can find all of my "31 Things I Want My Kids To Know About Me" posts. This page will also be linked up with The Nester.
