I posted this picture on Instagram yesterday and thought I'd be interesting to hear people's thoughts over here too.
I bought this book on Saturday evening during a quick Goodwill trip (books are only 50 cents -- holla!). It's a book all about fall and picking apples and pumpkins; and while I'm so excited for fall to be here, I really bought the book because I thought it'd be a perfect homeschooling book to accompany a trip to the pumpkin patch.
Yep, I've been thinking about homeschooling. As a former teacher, you might think that the idea of homeschooling has always been on my radar, but really, it hasn't. It's not that I was ever against it but I just didn't see it as "me." I loved my experience in public school and teaching in a public school, but I really just feel my heart and mind being led to homeschooling lately. Maybe it's the Lord preparing me for it?
I don't know yet. Gunner is only 18 months old so I obviously like to plan ahead. I do know one thing, education is an extremely personal decision and I can absolutely see the positives and negatives to each option.
What are your thoughts on homeschooling or just school for your children in general?
