Texas Summer Fashion Rules

In a Texas summer, you don't do pants, closed toe shoes, or anything with sleeves. And you certainly do anything form fitting. Well, at least I don't anyways. And if you do, I think you're a little crazy.

I am a total wimp when it comes to the heat and unfortunately in Texas we get maybe a month of nice warm weather before it turns to a humid inferno. Exaggeration? Maybe. But that's what it feels like to me. Cody, on the other hand, can climb into a car that has been sitting out in the 100 degree weather, and "forget" to turn the AC on. Something about being used to the heat in fires...whatever it is, it's not cool.

I wore this outfit for errand running recently, and deemed it the perfect Texas summer outfit. Loose, free flowing, no sleeves, and a fun print. To make the outfit feel a little more put together, I threw on a big statement necklace sent to me by The Rad Market. I love to wear this same necklace with a white v-neck or a loose, racerback tank.

Today, one of you has the chance to win a piece of YOUR CHOICE from The Rad Market. Giveaway is open to US residents only and ends July 4th, 12:00 am CST.

Go check out their website and start choosing what you'd like to take home!
