Copycat Linkup {22}

Welcome to week twenty-two of Copycat Linkup! If you're new to this whole thing and not exactly sure what this linkup is all about, here it is in a nutshell...Take style inspiration from anything -- Pinterest, a magazine, an advertisement, your favorite fashion blogger, ANYTHING -- and transfer that inspiration into your own style using pieces that you currently own. Simple and fun, right? If you'd like, you can read more about my original purpose and inspiration, here.

My outfit for this week is super easily to put together. I'm willing to bet most women have the essential items of this outfit already in their closet. Here's my inspiration picture...

pin found here. unsure of original source.

See, I told you that you probably own all of these items...a chambray top, grey tshirt, and black or dark washed jeans. You might not own a pair of clunky combat style boots, but a black flat could work as well.

Here's my version of the look...

 Chambray top: New York & Company // Grey tshirt: Kohls // Dark wash skinnies: Levi's // Black boots: Target

Looking back, I wish I'd worn my black skinnies instead of my dark wash jeans, but I think you still get the same affect. I think this outfit is perfect for errand running but could also work for coffee with friends or maybe even a concert on a cool night.

And my feet in that second picture? I'm not sure what they were doing.

Your turn! Can't wait to see what you come up with!
And don't forget we'll be pinning all of your looks on our Copycat Linkup Pinterest board.
