One Dress, Two Ways

As the warm spring days are quickly approaching (it was 85 degrees on Tuesday!), I've heard a lot of people talk about spring shopping. So many of my favorite stores are filling their racks with bright, springy pieces and while I'd love to buy it all, that's just not in the budget over here.

When I purchase a piece of clothing I try to picture it's use in several different outfits, especially if it's a semi expensive piece. If I can't wear it multiple ways I probably won't buy it. A bonus is being able to wear a piece through multiple seasons. An easy thing to do this with? Dresses.

Today I'm sharing a dress by eShakti and I am in love with it! It's an easy, cotton like material that could be worn very casually, but dressed up too. eShakti has tons of gorgeous, customizable pieces -- tops, skirts, cardigans -- but I LOVE their dresses. I decided to show you how I would style the dress from the fall/winter season to the spring season.

Dress: eShakti //  Jean jacket: Kohls // Boots: Target // Necklace: Lisa Leonard

The dress is easily styled for the fall or winter season with a cardigan and a pair of tall boots. On an extra chilly day, you could easily add a pair of leggings, leg warmers, scarf, or heavier jacket.

Dress: eShakti // Blue flats: Target // Blue necklace: Delias, years ago

And for spring weather, this dress is perfect all on it's on. Throw on some fun springy jewelry and a colored pair of flats or sandals and you have the perfect outfit. I thought the blues were a fun compliment with the mustard yellow.

One of the great things about eShakti is that their pieces are customizable! This dress originally hit below knee length and I chose to have it right above my knee instead. You can also change the sleeve type and remove details (pockets, embroidery, etc.) that certain pieces have. Customizable clothes at an extremely affordable price. Don't wanna change your piece at all? Order it just the way it came!

Today, I'm also happy to share that eShakti is giving all of my readers 20% off their entire order with the code TEXSLVEBRD. The code expires on the 10th, so hurry and use it! Plus, if you're a new customer, you get a $25 gift coupon to use on the website, so make sure you register your email address!

What pieces do you like to style from season to season?
Have you ever ordered anything from eShakti?

The fine line: I was offered this dress for free in exchange for a review. All thoughts and opinions are 100% mine.
