I Love You No Matter What {A Giveaway}

As I mentioned on Friday, we've been learning a lot about Gospel based living and a point that has really been driven home when talking about seeing the Gospel correctly is the fact that we did nothing to deserve or receive God's love...not even the "good" things were good enough.

The sermon got me thinking about the parable of the lost (also referred to as the prodigal) son. If you don't know it, the story is told in Luke 15, and you can read it here. The story is told by Jesus to further show how God loves us despite our mistakes, our failures, our achievements, our successes -- He just loves us wholly and completely.

I always loved the parable of the prodigal son when I was growing up, but now that I have Gunner, the parable really hits home. I understand that love and I marvel at the fact that a perfect God could love me in such a way.

Today, I'm sharing a children's book that teaches young kids that their parents love them no matter what. And while you're sharing this story with them, what a great place to insert the truth that God loves them no matter what as well.

I Love You No Matter What is the story of the prodigal son played by Prince Chirpio, a brightly colored yellow bird that kids are sure to enjoy. The story is brought down to an easily understood level for young children, and I am so excited to add it to our growing book collection.

Today, one lucky reader will get to add it to their collection as well. The giveaway ends this Saturday, February 16th at 12:00 am CST. Enter via the Rafflecopter gadget below!
