Copycat Linkup {14}

Welcome to week fourteen of Copycat Linkup! Last week we had ten people link up, which I was so excited to see. I love to see this little linkup growing little by little. If you've thought about joining us, don't be shy! We'd all love to see what you put together.

If you're new to this whole thing and not exactly sure what this linkup is all about, here it is in a nutshell...Take style inspiration from anything -- Pinterest, a magazine, an advertisement, your favorite fashion blogger, ANYTHING -- and transfer that inspiration into your own style using pieces that you currently own. Simple and fun, right? If you'd like, you can read more about my original purpose and inspiration, here.

I've been wanting to try print mixing for awhile now, and when I noticed that many of you who regularly link up were doing it, I figured why not join in? This week's inspiration picture uses two of my favorite prints...stripes and polka dots. Talk about a fun combination.

I reversed the print combination for my look...polka dots on top and stripes on bottom, but I think it's just as fun. Plus, I had to be strategic this week in my outfit choosing,  making sure my Tattoo Project tattoo didn't show before the big reveal on Friday!

My polka dots aren't quite as bold but I still love it. Honestly, I probably never would have put these two pieces together if it wasn't for all of the print mixing I've been seeing lately, but I'm so glad that I did. Don't you love when you find a brand new outfit from pieces you've owned forever?

Your turn! Can't wait to see what you come up with!
And don't forget we'll be pinning all of your looks on our Copycat Linkup Pinterest board.
