Copycat Linkup {11}

Welcome to week eleven of Copycat!

If you're new to this whole thing and not exactly sure what this linkup is all about, here it is in a nutshell...Take style inspiration from anything -- Pinterest, a magazine, an advertisement, your favorite fashion blogger, ANYTHING -- and transfer that inspiration into your own style using pieces that you currently own. Simple and fun, right? If you'd like, you can read more about my original purpose and inspiration, here.

This week's outfit on Pinterest, but it was originally uploaded to a Flickr account as pair of the 21 Day Challenge...

I love that this outfit can easily be taken from season to removing the tights and the boots, this could easily transition into the spring and summer months. I don't own a striped dress but I own a super similar looking skirt (I scored it on sale for $7!) that I knew I could pair with a black tank top, so I decided to go with that.

Here's my take on it...

Black and White Stripes + Mustard Yellow
Mustard yellow cardigan: Target // Black tank top: Target // Black and white striped skirt: Target // Brown boots: Target

It's a little hard to tell in the pictures, but I made a hair change this week and added quite a bit of brown to it with some blonde highlights mixed in (thank you for all of the sweet comments on my Instagram picture!). I'm not naturally blonde so I wanted something that could grow out a little more naturally between colorings but this has been a little bit of a shocker. Still trying to feel comfortable in it, but I'm getting there and thinking I'll probably stick with this color...who knows though, I'm so indecisive with hair color.

Your turn! Can't wait to see what you come up with!

And don't forget we'll be pinning all of your looks on our Copycat Linkup Pinterest board.
