Copycat Linkup {3}

For week three of Copycat Linkup we are introducing our first co-host, Kelly from Messy.Dirty.Hair! We are so excited to have her (and hopefully a few of her readers) joining us today!

If you're new to this whole thing and not exactly sure what this linkup is all about, here it is in a nutshell...Take style inspiration from anything -- Pinterest, a magazine, an advertisement, your favorite fashion blogger, ANYTHING -- and transfer that inspiration into your own style using pieces that you currently own. Simple and fun, right? If you'd like, you can read more about my original purpose and inspiration, here.

My look today is again another simple and easy to put together look. As a mom, I don't have a lot of time to style and edit my outfits. For me, staple pieces are easiest and can be made fun by a piece of jewelry. I also like things to be comfortable. I know you hear that fashion choices shouldn't be made based on comfort, but when you're chasing around a ten month old all day, comfort is definitely a major factor.

Here is my inspiration outfit BCBGMAXAZRIA...

I loved the nautical colors of this outfit and the overall simplicity. I recreated the look in a little more tailored form..and in a much cheaper form, but I still love the pops of color.

Navy blazer: JCPenny, similar // White tshirt: Old Navy, similar // Red skinnies: Target // Navy flats: Target // Gold necklace: Kohl's
I bought this navy blazer a few years ago before they were the big trend. I was always a little nervous about wearing it and almost considered getting rid of it a few times. I'm really glad that I didn't.

You can see Mary's outfit here. And Kelly's outfit here. I know you'll love what they put together, I always do. And don't forget to check out the Copycat Linkup Pinterest board, where we'll be pinning your outfits each week!

Now before you linkup your outfits, remember that we have a few rules...
