These pictures are from the first time Gunner saw our Christmas tree. We set it up on Friday night while he was sleeping, so when he woke up Saturday morning we kept the living room dark and lit up the tree. He was in awe.
It has already been so fun seeing Christmas through his tiny eyes and I know it will only be more fun the older he gets. We decorated the tree last night as a family and it felt like a movie as we goofily danced around to music together while we tried to keep Gunner's little fingers away from the breakable ornament.
Cody and I both talked about how having a son has brought back that childhood joy to the Christmas season. I can't wait for the years of tree decorating and memory building we have ahead.
