Well, it's that time. That one time a month that I talk about sponsors and money on this blog. Let's be honest, talking about money can be awkward from time to time, but I like to keep this space "open." So, here it goes...
First, I have started using Passionfruit Ads for my sponsorships and have so far been really happy with it. For the first time in my blogging history, I am taking paid sponsorships. I have several options that I'd love for you to take a look at. You can get all of the details by clicking on my "sponsor" page up at the top, but here are the quick numbers for you -- you can buy Featured Ad Space (200x300) for $10, Large Ad Space (200x200) for $5, and I am still offering the option to swap ads with me for FREE! Sound interesting? Head to my sponsor page for more info!
Second, I also wanted to talk about the fact that in the past (as in the past week or two) I have written a few sponsored posts. I wanted to share information on these types of posts, just so you know how they are handled and how they are chosen. I have been compensated for posts. These posts will always tell you when they have been sponsored and when I have been compensated. I do want to make sure that you all know that I only pursue and accept sponsored posts that fit within the topics of my blog. I want to keep things real here.
Third, and most importantly, I want you to know what I plan to do with these funds and why I have begun to pursue these opportunities. Maybe you remember me writing this post about my desire and plan to attend The Influence Conference. And if you follow me on Twitter, you've certainly heard me mention the same conference. The Influence Conference is a conference all about using our influence to spread His name, you can read more about it here. Anyways, I have purchased my ticket for the conference but will still need more funds to cover my flight, hotel room, and traveling money. From here on out, any money I make on my blog will help to fund my trip to Indiana for the conference.
So there, we talked about money. And it wasn't too awkward, right?
I so appreciate anything you put into my blog...whether that be money through a sponsorship, investing through commenting on what I write, or spreading word about this little blog of mine. You guys are seriously awesome and I am daily amazed that any of you care what I have to say. The blogging community is hard to understand if you aren't a part of it, but I am so glad to be apart of it and I so look forward to continuing to share with you.
Oh, and just for kicks...here are some pretty blue eyes and a little bit of drool for you to enjoy. I, luckily, get to enjoy it daily.
Psst -- Did you read yesterday's post about seeing our reflections more clearly? I'd love for you check it out. It is full of something my heart has been wanting to share.
