Since I've begun my "duties" as a stay at home momma and wife, I've also begun meal planning. Before, we cooked kind of randomly and ate out a lot, but I am now making a strong effort to cook more at home.
Earlier this week, I put together a list of all of the meals that we like to eat and went and bought everything I need. I'm currently planning a week of meals at a time, but have enough ingredients for about two weeks. I figure shopping every two weeks is the most manageable.
I'm really excited about meal planing and sharing the recipes that I cook with all of you. I think it's a great move for us financially and is certainly a lot healthier than fast food all of the time.
