A Coffee Date

Welcome to our new house!
Yes, we've officially moved in. I use the term "moved in" very lightly.
Moved in means all of our junk is still in boxes but at least it's all in one house.

I thought we'd try a cold coffee today since the Texas summer has arrived.
I've never been a big fan of the cold coffee I've tried to make so I just took the easy way out and bought the bottled Starbucks kind from the grocery store.

I'd probably have all of the fans blasting and I'd mention that I knew it might be a little cooler in the house if we kept the blinds closed and the curtains drawn, but I can't help but want to soak in the beautiful sunshine (from the inside of my air conditioned house).

If you were to come over for coffee, I'd tell you that the school year is over and I'm officially a SAHM. I am so excited to get started with my new job. I am so blessed to have this opportunity.

I'd tell you that I feel so privileged to have many of my blog readers leave their prayer requests to me. It lets me know that you trust that I will pray for you, and that is a huge motivation for me to follow through.

I'd ask if there's any way that I can pray for you. These requests are causing me to grow in my faith, causing me to be thankful for what I have.

I'd ask that you continue to spread the word of this movement...making the blogging community a praying community

I'd tell you that this past week I have learned that a lot comes from being bold.

If you were to come over for coffee, I'd ask in what ways you've been bold lately? What goals are you reaching for? What dreams are you dreaming?

Let's talk about it. Let's be real. Lately, I'm feeling that's the best way to be.
