Weekly Links

Just a few links to start your week off with. I've started my week off a little under the weather...sore throat and a constant headache. Yuck. I hope you're feeling better than I am.

Enjoy these few links! I'll be back tomorrow to share about my first weekend away.

  • As a firefighter wife, I've really enjoyed the discussion going on over at 5ohwifey about explaining shift work to your children. If you're part of a firefighter, police, or military family, head over there and leave your thoughts!
  • Diana at Hormonal Imbalances just experienced an incredible loss, the loss of her twin boys who were born preterm. Diana is a woman of incredible strength and faith and I cannot imagine her pain. If you have a moment, stop by her blog and leave words of love and prayer...in a time such as this, I think that is one of the best things we can do.
  • This wonderful post titled Free Pass was written by Heather from The Extraordinary Ordinary. It's a post reminding you to give yourself a "free pass" sometimes because we'll never be able to do it all, and that's okay. I found this post before I had G and I read the post once every few weeks. I keep it bookmarked because I think I'll probably need to continue to read it in the years to come.
