Now that little man's arrival is just days away (the 15th is induction day), I thought I'd share pictures of his nursery. It's been a work in progress and it will continue to be, I love adding little pieces to rooms over time. I still have a few ideas of things I'd like to get done in his "early days," but for now I'm really happy with it.
I tried to keep decoration minimal in the room, especially since it's a space for a little boy. His room does have several sentimental pieces in it that make me love it even more. The rocking chair was my great grandma's and while I considered sanding it down and re-staining or painting it, I decided to stick with it's original, somewhat worn finish. Also, the cross sitting on his dresser hung in my nursery and was recently given to me by my Mom. Lastly, the "Forever Young" print holds a lot of meaning to me as well...you can read my blog post about the song and it's meaning, here.
