InstaFriday - 1/26

As always, I'm linking up with Life Rearranged for InstaFriday today.

I won't say that this week flew by like I usually do, because that would be a lie. As I'm nearing the end of this pregnancy the days are just creeping by, and while I should probably be glad that time has slowed, I am so ready to meet my little man. Not to mention the fact that I'm ready to breathe normally, sleep on my stomach, and not have to pee constantly. (TMI? Sorry.)

Here are a few pictures from our week...

At the end of last week some of our friends threw us a couple's shower. It was lots of fun and very relaxed. "Gunner's Guide" was part of a little game we played. The idea behind it was that as future parents we read books and pour over information to best learn about our child, but no one every prepares the baby for what their parents will be like. "Gunner's Guide" is a list of tips for our boy. Yes, I do love CiCis. And yes, Cody and I should never play games together. I'm way too competitive.

The work on G's room, of course, continued and as I did all of his laundry I was shocked by how much he has. This is about half of his closet and this doesn't even include the clothes that are bigger than 6 months. Everything larger than 6 months is currently being stored.

This print for his room came in as well and I am in love with it.
You can read my post about the significance of this beautiful song here.

Started getting the bathroom ready for Gunner as well.
This little firefighter duck faucet cover was a gift from one of our showers.

This picture is of my sweet husband at lunch time. After a particularly rough day of teaching middle schoolers, he called me, and surprised me with lunch during my lunch break. I really don't think they make men better than this! I am so blessed.

And lastly, a quick, early morning, before work, belly shot. 36 weeks and Gunner has definitely dropped. Everything fits so differently now.

How was your week? Did you do anything exciting?

If you write an InstaFriday post, leave me a comment with a link to it..I'd love to check it out!
