This little post will be brief as Cody and I are headed off for an early Christmas celebration in Tyler with some of my family. School is officially out for two weeks (hallelujah!) and I am so ready to celebrate this beautiful holday.
The last week of school was filled with reviewing my students and having them take their semester exams. While neither was my favorite, it did mean less time preparing and grading at nights.
Thus, I spent a lot of time soaking up moments with these sweet things...
And one of what I call Molly's Jar Jar Binks look...
I've really been thinking the last few weeks about how fast this baby is going to be here. And while I am, of course, so excited, I also realized that my first babies are going to have to really adjust. There's no doubt in my mind that they can and will, but I still worry that they'll feel unloved. I figured there isn't a whole lot I can do once Gunner gets here, other than spend small moments with them, but I figure I can definitely show them lots of love now.
I also spent lots of time indulging in a big ole' glass of milk. I drank an entire gallon (all on my own) this week. I guess it's not a horrible thing. It's probably the healthiest craving I've had this entire pregnancy.
I think I'll have to invest in another gallon of milk to enjoy with all of the sweets that my students brought me this week...
I was so surprised at everything that was brought and given to me. I am truly blessed to have the great group of students that I do. There are days where teaching 12 and 13 year olds can be challenging, but I am always aware of what a great group I have been given.
And to top it all off, here is a picture of the 30 week belly from above.
I hope you all have a fabulous weekend! x
