Nursery Progress

First of all, hello to my new(est) followers! I've decided to sponsor one of my favorite mommy/lifestyle blogs (TART) this month, and was happy to see that I've already gained a few followers. I am so glad to have you here and so happy that you've joined our journey. Be sure to check out Jess' blog, TART, where you'll see my blog button on the right hand side of her page.

This past weekend we got to work on Gunner's nursery. I wish I'd taken more pictures of the process, but once we were working, there wasn't much time for a camera.

My mom came over to help us getting the painting done, and we worked so fast, that we were able to get the furniture put together too. It was especially helpful to have an extra set of hands whenever we were putting together the crib as the pieces were big awkward to hold. We are so blessed to have all of our helpful family.

The paint color is 'moonshine' (a very light grey) by Benjamin Moore. The furniture is from Target and is made by Shoal Creek.

Okay, enough talking, on to the pictures. The room is still minimal, we haven't even put the crib bedding on yet, but here is how it's looking as of today.

I love the window in the room, it keeps it feeling very bright and airy. We still have a pretty good sized wall that I'm thinking of putting an IKEA Expedit bookshelf on, but we'll definitely be shopping around for the best deal.

Will most definitely keep everyone updated on the latest changes in Gunner boy's room. x
